Metro Art

Client.

ANM Metro Art manages the Art Stations along Line 1 of the Naples metro. This project combines architecture and art to transform urban transit areas into vibrant cultural spaces. Designed by international architects, the stations feature over 150 contemporary artworks. ANM promotes this heritage through guided tours, educational activities, and creative workshops

Problem.

ANM sought to create a visual identity for the Metro Art project, associating each art station with a specific symbol. These symbols are derived from the unique motifs and elements characteristic of each station.

Solution.

The concept involves carefully extracting symbols from the signs, colors, and icons present at each station. This approach aims to establish a direct connection with the station's artistic essence, providing a visual representation that reflects its soul.

Each symbol, developed in line with the station's artistic nature, serves as an immediate visual marker. These symbols allow travelers to easily recognize each station through its distinctive graphic representation.

Results.

The symbols, rooted in the artistic attributes of the stations, enhance the visibility and recognition of each station, making it easier for travelers to identify and appreciate the unique cultural and artistic heritage present throughout the Naples metro system.
